Whenever a car from the stable of Lamborghini gets unveiled or leaked, supercar lovers get their hearts beating! The company has unveiled a stunner in the form of the new Vision Gran Turismo Concept, and it is making headlines- as expected. Unveiled at Monaco, the Vision Gran Turismo Concept is meant for the PlayStation 4 gamers. It can be driven virtually from spring 2020. If you never owned a Lamborghini now, it is possible- at least virtually! Only 63 units of the Vision Gran Turismo Concept will get made- as per the company sources. Each of these beasts on wheels will cost £3 million.
The single-seater Vision Gran Turismo Concept from Lamborghini has a mighty V12 powertrain, which is shared with the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37. The latter made its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show this year. It is a single-seater car that reaches a peak speed of 217 mph and hits 62 mph in only 2.8 seconds. It gets the Y-signature at the front, along with Lamborghini lights at the backside. The design is aerodynamic in nature. The interior is made much like a cockpit. The driving controls are there inside the car’s futuristic steering wheel. Not only that, the driver’s information gets projected on the front glass for the driver to see. The side windows are much like the yesteryears Lamborghini Marzal.
Lamborghini has aimed the virtual model Vision Gran Turismo Concept at the young, affluent users. The chairman and CEO of Lamborghini, Stefano Domenicali, said the futuristic and cool design of the model is aimed at wooing the young users who live and breathe technology! Lamborghini Centro Stile’s head Mitja Bokert said the Vision Gran Turismo offers the ultimate virtual racing car for gamers and Lamborghini lovers. While the Vision Gran Turismo Concept will remain a concept and will not hit the roads like the models Hurracan or Aventador, it may serve as design inspiration for the next-gen cars from the company’s stable.
